Alliance aims to improve partners’ UCaaS services
Resellers and other partners of SkySwitch, which offers its white label cloud-based unified communications (UC) solution exclusively through the channel, will now be able to sell Adaptiv Networks’ software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) to its end customers.
The Lowdown: SkySwitch’s announcement, made this week at its Vectors 2019 user conference in Orlando, Florida, came a month after the vendor and Adaptiv announced a partnership to develop cloud connectivity solutions for the channel that enhance their respective Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) and SD-WAN offerings.
The Details: SkySwitch partners can now sell the Adaptiv SD-WAN solution, which is available in the SkySwitch online store. They will get preferred pricing on Adaptiv offerings, which bring with them rapid service provisioning, continuous support, and SD-WAN sales certification training. The Adaptiv technology includes distributed gateways that leverage patented software for managing bi-directional quality of service (QoS). For UCaaS customers, that will improve the quality of both legs of a call. Key to all this is Adaptiv’s management of last-mile traffic between the customer’s edge environment and the cloud gateway.
The Impact: Both vendors are 100% channel driven and have a focus on SMBs, which are increasingly moving more of their workloads and data to the cloud and need reliable connectivity. Adaptiv’s SD-WANs are designed to drive greater reliability from cloud networks for voice, data, and video communications. It has more than 200 customers and 25 partners in North America. SkySwitch partners include MSPs, ISPs, and VARs.
