Rolls out Pro series of sales, technical, and marketing resources
At its Global Partner Summit and Discover 2019 this week, Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced its Pro series offerings, aimed at fostering collaboration between the channel and the vendor’s direct-sales teams, and at giving partners the skills, solutions, and programs they need to transform the customer experience and deliver business outcomes.
The Lowdown: The new and enhanced resources represent a dedicated investment by HPE in the channel and in teamwork between the vendor and its partners.
The Details: HPE unveiled a new sales initiative, as well as enhanced technical and marketing programs.
>HPE Sales Pro Community: a new global approach to driving sales excellence that features an interactive, collaborative space for HPE and partner sales teams to communicate and share information; enhanced education and accreditation modules that create a consistent, role-based learning experience for partners and HPE sales teams; and identical access to enablement materials for HPE and partner sales personnel. That includes industry-recognized certificates and digital badges as part of a reward program that’s standardized worldwide, simplified global pricing and deal registration processes, and alignment of the HPE Partner Demo Program across all geographies.
>HPE Tech Pro Community: a recently announced initiative for solution architects that’s being enhanced via a new reward and recognition program (additional benefits, higher recognition, and deeper levels of access to content and resources based on investment); two new Hybrid IT Architect certifications; and a full suite of continuous learning paths that provide job role-based learning on the latest HPE and industry technologies. The reward program and certifications will be available November 1.
>HPE Marketing Pro Academy: an existing program that’s being expanded to include a new online Digital Marketing Partner Learning Center and a new Accreditation Program. The learning center, being piloted with select partners currently, will provide partners with access to educational videos and resources on digital marketing topics. The HPE Digital Marketing Partner Accreditation Program will launch on November 1.
The Impact: According to HPE officials, the Pro series focuses on global consistency in three areas – connect, learn, and grow – allowing partners to work with HPE teams, enhance their skills, gain visibility in the market, grow their businesses, and increase their ease of doing business (EODB) quotient.
