Specialty distributor will recruit partners to sell videoconferencing service through new agent channel model
Videoconferencing specialist Lifesize has enlisted the help of specialty distributor Jenne to recruit agents and resellers to help drive sales through its new agency channel model.
The Lowdown: The new Lifesize agent model works the same way as the telephony agent channel, with agents receiving a commission on sales referred to the vendor. Jenne will act as a master agent, processing agent sales and referrals on behalf of Lifesize.
The Details: Under the recently launched Lifesize Agency program, Lifesize will pay partners a commission on sales referrals and partners will receive compensation when the sales referral closes. The program offers agency partners evergreen contracts, meaning that they will continue to receive a share of the revenue through the lifetime of the customer engagement. Lifesize says agency partners will also receive incentives and compensation on renewals, equipment sales, and net-new customer acquisition.
Background: Based in Austin, Texas, Lifesize is a growing vendor in the crowded and highly competitive videoconferencing and collaboration market. In April, Lifesize announced that it surpassed $100 million in annual sales, a milestone to which more than 3,500 partners around the world contributed.
