HP launched its first-ever profitability accelerator for displays and accessories sold by top-tier partners in the United States as it seeks to stimulate sales and growth through the channel.

The Details: HP is making new tools and resources available to partners to sell commercial displays and accessories for commercial desktop PCs, notebooks, detachable computers,
Background: HP and other PC vendors saw sales decline in 2018, due largely to increasing economic headwinds and shortfalls in processor inventories at Intel. The Buzz: “HP is always keeping a close eye on trends and opportunities that will drive profitable growth for our channel partners,” said Gary Simms, HP’s head of AMS channel programs and enablement. “We’re excited to offer this new accelerator as we double down on displays and accessories in the U.S. while partners take advantage of incredible opportunities fueled by current market conditions.”
